Course Content: The contents of the course include; symbolic interaction theory, philosophical, psychological and sociological approaches on mass society, communication models and paradigms about the relationship between popular culture and media from a postmodernist point of view. 
Course Objectives: On success completion of this course, the student will be able to understand the paradigmas in media and contrast them, and express the problems out of mass relationship, comprehend to be sensitive to these problems.
Teaching Method: Lectures, classroom discussions and observational visits
Assessment Method: Written exams and an assignment (two midterm (40%), final (50%), and assignment (10%)).
